Built in The Gambia
Smart Steel Enterprise is a family business supplying building materials and transport to contractors and home-builders.
We aim to be the first choice for construction companies in The Gambia — with fair prices, dependable delivery and customers who come back. Our plan is to grow the distribution network from Sukuta and Salagi across the country and into the wider West African market.
Our yard and store are at Paradise View Estate Junction in Sukuta, open Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm. We supply construction sites in and around Sukuta and Salagi, with regular loads further afield, including Kiang Keneba.

What building materials does Smart Steel Enterprise sell?
Iron rods (reinforcement bars), cement, timber and plywood, floor and wall tiles, and paint, plus pipes, electricals, fixings, tools and site sundries. You can buy by the piece or by the truckload from our store at Paradise View Estate Junction, Sukuta.
Which cement brands do you stock?
Dangote, SOCOCIM and Les Ciments du Sahel, imported wholesale from Senegal in 50 kg bags. We sell by the bag or by the truckload of 1,000+ bags.
Do you deliver building materials in The Gambia?
Yes. We run our own fleet of six trucks with 40 ft trailers and deliver cement, sand, gravel and building materials to construction sites in and around Sukuta and Salagi and across The Gambia.
Where is Smart Steel Enterprise located?
Along Barton Harden Highway at Paradise View Estate Junction, Sukuta, West Coast Region, The Gambia. We are open Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm.
Do you offer wholesale prices for contractors?
Yes. Contractors and builders buying in volume get wholesale prices, and delivery can be arranged when you order.
Can I hire construction equipment?
Yes. We hire out a bulldozer, compactors, concrete mixers, acrow jacks and a backhoe loader, with or without an operator.
Do you transport shipping containers?
Yes. We haul containers to and from the seaport and move them domestically within The Gambia.
Do you offer car rental?
Yes. We offer VIP car rental for events and visitors, and commercial public transport services.
